The second-generation Camaro™ was produced from 1970 to 1981. After a brief hiatus in 1975 and 1976, the Z28® returned to the Camaro lineup in 1977 as the high-performance flagship. The 1981 Z28 was powered by a 350 c.i. (5.7L) V8 engine, delivering 175 hp.
