The Aerodyne, manufactured by Freightliner Trucks, is a semi-truck that defined an era and introduced significant innovations to the heavy-duty commercial vehicle market. It was distinguished by its raised-roof cab, which greatly enhanced living comfort within the integrated sleeper compartment.

This made the Freightliner Aerodyne ideal for long-haul journeys on American highways, where it was often necessary to ensure suitable conditions for rest breaks and overnight stays while on the road.
