The M274 "Mechanical Mule" was a lightweight, four-wheel-drive, gasoline-powered truck capable of carrying up to 0.45 tons off-road.
It entered service in 1956 and remained in service until the 1980s.
The M274 Mules were modified during the Vietnam War to carry virtually any type of conventional weapon.
