The Bristol Belvedere was a major achievement of the British aviation industry in the post-war period.
It was a highly capable, twin-rotor heavy-lift helicopter that underlined the versatility of modern rotary-wing aircraft.
The Belvedere was equipped with two redundant engines and could also operate safely with just one engine if required.
Only 26 of these helicopters were built.
