Sd.Kfz.9 is the largest half-track vehicle used by Germany in World War II. Development by FAMO began in 1936 and officially brought the F3 type onto the market in 1939. The model's 250 hp HL108TUKRM engine was developed by Maybach and produced for the F3 model. There were modifications of the Sd.Kfz. 9 with 8.8 cm flak or with a large crane.
