Spot-On pigment No. 07 Black Earth

Dark earth is rich in organic matter, hence its blackish color. Russians call it "chernozem," where "chern(y)" means black and "zemlya" means earth. Perfect for Eastern Front scenarios. Important: True chernozem is nearly black only when wet; when dry, it displays numerous shades of gray and brown! This 4-color blend mimics authentic black earth—the tone appears light when the pigment is applied dry, and dark when mixed with a suitable binder before application. Cool tone.

Recommended techniques: Dusting, capillary action, weathering paint/wash, and paste
