Alkyd binders are a new addition to the modeling world. Pigments applied with alkyd binders remain active for several hours after the solvent has evaporated; they appear dry but can still be manipulated. This allows you to partially remove pigments to create interesting effects or simply make corrections. The beauty of alkyds lies in the ability to manipulate seemingly "dry" pigment layers before allowing them to cure fully. This gives the pigment layer time to set and become durable. The product is available in two versions: "MATT" for matte effects and "Wet FX" for high-gloss effects.
Can be used over all acrylic paints (any brand) and enamel paints from the following manufacturers: Humbrol®, Revell®, and Model Master®. IMPORTANT: Tamiya® enamel paints are not compatible!
