SUPER DECAL SHEET FOR 4 VERSIONS. Development of the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle began in the 1970s to equip the US Air Force's fighter squadrons with an advanced and powerful jet fighter.
The robust and aerodynamic design led to the production of the two-seat, all-weather fighter-bomber F-15E Strike Eagle. The F-15E Strike Eagle entered service with the USAF in the late 1980s, replacing the aging F-111. Its missions include ground attack, bombing, and interception.
They retained the flight characteristics of the original F-15, such as the twin tail fins, the robust center wing, and the two-seat tandem cockpit, in the rear of which the weapons systems officer made his presence known. From this position, the officer selected the aircraft's flight paths, target tracking, and electronic countermeasures. The F-15E saw service in numerous operational theaters, including Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm in the early 1990s.
