An extremely versatile aircraft, it is suitable for air superiority, ground attack, reconnaissance, and electronic warfare missions. Its twin Snecma M88 afterburner engines give the aircraft considerable performance, including a top speed of over Mach 1.8 and good range. Its aerodynamic configuration also ensures excellent maneuverability.
The Rafale B can carry a wide range of weapons for all mission types, including air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles, as well as guided bombs. The main user is the French Air Force (Armée de l’Air), but it is also used by the air forces of other countries such as Croatia and Greece.
