One of the many wonder weapons that were to save the Third Reich was also the jet fighter Heinkel He 162A Spatz. This aircraft was part of the Volksjäger programme and was only used in the very last phase in the war.
The Luftwaffe's jet-powered aircraft were welcome prey for the Allies.
These rather dainty jets were tested in the USA, Great Britain, France as well as in the USSR.
This excellent and detailed kit, whose parts have an impeccable fit, is now complemented by a decal sheet with the markings of the aircraft tested in the countries mentioned.
