Plastic kit for building a le.gl Einheits-Pkw Kfz.1
After 1933 Germany began building the modern army. The important part of Wehrmacht motorization was the production of special all-road passenger cars. Three types of unified passenger cars were designed - light, medium and heavy. All had four-wheel drive, independent suspension and a simplified open body.
The light, uniform all-wheel drive vehicle - light off-road unit passenger car - was manufactured by the Stoewer company and also by BMW and Hanomag since 1936. From 1940 to 1943, Stoewer produced the simplified Type 40 model without rear-wheel steering. A total of around 13,000 le.gl. Uniform cars seemed too heavy, too complicated and unreliable in real use.
le.gl.einheits-Pkw-Wagen were produced with different body types - in particular Kfz.1 - four-seat personnel car.
