The McDonnell Douglas F-15 is a single-seat, all-weather fighter aircraft designed and built to secure and maintain air superiority. The F-15 Eagle was developed in the 1970s to equip U.S. Air Force units with a modern, high-performance fighter. In its evolved form—represented by the "C" variant—the F-15 remains widely used by the U.S. Air Force and U.S. National Guard, as well as the air forces of Israel, Japan, and Saudi Arabia.

The F-15C saw action during the First Gulf War and played a pivotal role in establishing coalition air superiority, achieving the highest number of enemy aircraft kills. It is armed with a 20mm cannon (M61) and can deploy a wide range of air-to-air missiles. Powered by two high-performance Pratt & Whitney F100 engines with afterburners, the F-15C reaches speeds of Mach 2.5.
