Lokomotive BR50 (1:87)

The BR50 was developed from 1937 as a powerful “standard” freight locomotive for use on branch lines. With a total of 3,164 locomotives manufactured by almost all German manufacturers between 1938 and 1945, the BR50 was one of the most widespread steam locomotive series in Germany.
Due to the war, the last series was technically simplified and called the BR50 UK (war locomotive conversion).
The BR50 was developed to replace outdated steam locomotives on branch lines.
The BR50's low axle load of 16 t made it universally applicable.
