The M4 Sherman medium tank was the main battle tank of the United States during World War II.
It was mass-produced and formed the backbone of the United States armored force at the time.
Several versions were produced.
The M4A4 was armed with a 75mm M3-L/40 cannon and was powered by a Chrysler A57 Multibank 30 cylinder gasoline engine. which was installed in a longer fuselage.
This was known to the British and Commonwealth forces as Sherman V.
