The 25 Pdr was in service with British and Commonwealth forces throughout WWII and was widely considered to be one of the best field guns of the war.
For transport the gun was attached to a limber and towed by the Morris Commercial C8 FAT (Quad).
The limbers could carry 32 rounds of ammunition.
