The Tiger II was the last mass-produced German tank of the Second World War to enter service in 1944.
With 150 mm armour on the front and 80 mm on the sides, its hull was extremely well armoured.
It was armed with an improved 8.8 cm cannon.
With this it could penetrate 152 mm of armour from a distance of up to two kilometres.
The mass-produced Königstiger was equipped with a turret designed by Henschel.
