At the same time as the M1941 KV-1, the KV-2 (also referred to as the year in the M1941 KV-2) was produced. The feature of the KV-2 is its special turret shape. The huge turret, which was equipped with a 152-millimeter howitzer, had enormous weight that made turret slewing difficult. Once the turret rotation reached a certain point, the gun could not be fired. The KV-2 had more moral impact on the battlefield than effective.
