When the KV-1 type went into production in 1941, the KV-2 (also called KV-2 Type 1941) also went into production at the same time. The character of the KV-2 is the shape of the turret, which is shaped like a large box, hexagonal, armed with a 152 mm cannon. KV-II, which were confiscated by German troops, retained the original armament. Only a Panzer III/IV command dome was added. Prey KV-2s were called Pz.Kpfw KV-2 754(r) and assigned to a z.b.v. combat group for combat.
