The Sd.Kfz.234 series was a highly successful eight-wheel drive armoured car design equipped with a 210 hp engine.
Four variants of the vehicle were produced, with the 234/2 "Puma" equipped with a 5-cm gun being in service first.
It was followed by the 234/1, which featured an open-top turret and a lighter 2-cm gun.
