In 1940 the design was passed on to the Humber Company, which used its own Kaglia KT4 chassis to produce the Humber Mk.I armored vehicle.
However, the design was later adjusted in late 1941 to better suit production and the improved model was named Humber Mk.II.
This superb and maneuverable armored vehicle features a 15mm BESA machine gun with a high rate of fire.
The Humber Mk.II performed better on the battlefield than German and Italian armored vehicles.
This vehicle saw service with the 11th Hussars in late 1941 until it was replaced by the newer Humber Mk.III or Daimler Mk.I armored vehicles.
It could reach a speed of 45 miles per hour, has a range of 200 miles, an armor thickness of 15 mm and is powered by a 90 hp 6 kW gasoline engine.
About 440 vehicles were manufactured.
