The Oshkosh M-ATV is a mine-resistant anti-personnel vehicle (MRAP) developed as part of the MRAP All Terrain Vehicle (M-ATV) program. It is intended to replace the M1114 HMMWV and offers the same protection as the larger and heavier MRAPs. However, the M1240 is significantly more mobile and agile than the larger variants.
