The 8-wheel armored car Sd.Kfz. 234/2, also called Puma in post-war literature, was one of a series of reconnaissance vehicles used by the Wehrmacht in World War II. It had a closed-top turret and was relatively heavily armed with the 5 cm KwK 39/1, which led some crew to intervene in the fight instead of just observing. The 220 hp diesel engine gave it a top speed of up to 90 km/h. He could achieve this speed both forwards and backwards, which is why he had two driver's positions. A total of 101 were built and used. Towards the end of the war, at least one vehicle with a Luchs turret with a 2 cm cannon was built and deployed.
