The VK 16.02 Leopard was a project for a light reconnaissance vehicle for the Wehrmacht, which was developed from mid-1941 to January 1943.
Series production was planned from April 1943.
It was intended to replace the Panzer II Ausf. L "Luchs", but the project was canceled in January 1943.
A prototype was never built, only a wooden model was made.
