At the beginning of May 1942, a new design of an assault tank was presented.
In March 1943, Krupp proposed the development of the new assault gun, which was to be armed with a 30.5 cm L/16 mortar.
The gun was to be based in a Kasmat construction on the modified chassis of the then new heavy tank Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger.
No prototype was built.
