Sherman M4A3 (76) W VVSS - 2025 Premium Version

The M4 Sherman is undoubtedly one of the most famous and recognizable tanks of all time.
Named after Union commander General William Sherman, more than 50,000 units were built.
The nomenclature M4A3(76)W indicates that it was powered by a 500 hp Ford GAA V8 gasoline engine (M4A3), mounted a 76 mm M1 cannon, and featured a protective "wet" ammunition bay (W).
The M4A3, the U.S. Army's preferred Sherman variant, replaced the M4 and M4A1 starting in 1944.
The more effective cannon was needed to counter the more heavily armored and powerfully armed German tanks and entered service in France starting in July 1944.
In fact, by the end of the war in Europe, half of the American Sherman fleet was equipped with 76 mm guns.
