M4A3E8 Sherman "Easy Eight"

The M4 Sherman medium tank was the United States' main tank during World War II.
It was mass-produced and formed the backbone of the United States armored forces at the time.
Several versions were produced.
Production of the M4A3E8 versions began in late 1944.
The M4A3E8, nicknamed the "Easy Eight," received several improvements that improved the tank's effectiveness.
The vehicle was equipped with the 76mm M1 high-velocity gun and a new horizontal suspension system (HVSS) that provided smoother driving stability and higher speed.
The "Easy Eight" took an active part in the final stages of World War II, and alongside the M26 Pershing and M46 Patton, participated actively in the Korean War
