M4A3E8 SHERMAN "FURY"

The M4 Sherman medium tank was the main tank of the United States during World War II.
It was produced in a considerable number of units and formed the backbone of the armored forces of the United States during this period.
It was produced in several variants and versions.
Production of the M4A3E8 began in late 1944.
The M4A3E8 (nicknamed the "Easy Eight") featured several technical improvements that increased the Sherman's operational capability.
The 76 mm M1 high-speed gun was flanked by a new horizontal coil-spring suspension system (HVSS) that could provide better driving conditions and increased speed.
The "Easy Eight" participated in the final phase of World War II and was also active in the Korean War.
