The 17pdr SP "Achilles" was a British variant of the American M10 "Wolverine" tank destroyer
It was armed with the 17-pounder high-velocity British Ordnance QF 76.2mm (3-inch) anti-tank gun, as found in the Sherman "Firefly".
A total of about 1100 M10 were converted to Achilles.
