The M2 Bradley IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) is a US Army infantry fighting vehicle developed by the Food Machinery Corporation in the 1970s and delivered to the armed forces from 1981.
The M2 is the original production variant. Not all variants of the TOW could be fired and an ABC air filter system was not yet integrated. The crew was still dependent on the supply of food from the relevant parts of the company, since no field rations were carried along. Around 2500 M2s were produced before the start of production of the M2A1 variant.
