The Sd.Kfz.7 was a German half-track vehicle of the 8 ton class that saw widespread use in World War II.
Weighing 11.53 tons, it was originally intended to tow artillery pieces such as the 8.8 cm Flak or the 15 cm howitzer sFH 18.
However, it was also developed into a successful self-propelled gun for anti-aircraft weapons such as the Luftwaffe's 2 cm or 3.7 cm AA guns.
The vehicle with the latter 3.7 cm gun was known as Sd.Kfz.7/2 and a total of 123 vehicles were produced until February 1945.
