Sd.Kfz. 251/17 Ausf. D w/ 2cm Kwk38 - 2024 Version

The German Sd.Kfz. 251 half-tracks were extremely successful and spawned a number of specialized variants.

One of these was the 251/17, a half-track equipped with a 2 cm KwK38 cannon.

A mount on the chassis of the Ausf. D allowed the single-barreled cannon to be installed without altering the superstructure.

In later versions, the cannon was housed in a small, armored turret on a pedestal.
