The Sd.Kfz 10 Demag D7 half-track was used by German troops in large numbers on all fronts during World War II, from the invasion of Poland to North Africa and Russia.
It was designed and developed as an effective towing vehicle for small artillery pieces such as anti-aircraft and anti-tank guns.
The Demag D7 could carry eight fully equipped soldiers and also pull a gun or trailer.
The 4.2-liter Maybach 6-cylinder engine produced 99 horsepower.
Thanks to the engine, the half-track vehicle could reach a top speed of 65 km/h and was easy to drive both on and off road.
The vehicle was reliable and flexible and was produced in a large number of units and in different versions.
Its frame was also the basis for making modifications and improvements directly in the field workshops, in order to have vehicles that fully corresponded to the specifics of the operational areas.
