Stunning looks, horrible fit

The manufacturer confirmed they have had some bad batches and replaced my first set. However, the second set just will not stay together either. The kits I have received will never be ”workable” because the pins on the ”duck bill” pieces does not snap in place - they fall out with no resistance. The detail and finish is outstanding, the pieces look absolutely great. It’s a shame they won’t stay together.
