The Miura SVR underwent numerous technical and aerodynamic modifications. These included a widened body, larger air intakes, a distinctive front spoiler, a prominent rear roof wing, and flared wheel arches to accommodate wider wheels and tires. The suspension, brakes, and 4.0-liter V12 engine were also revised to enhance the vehicle's performance and driving dynamics. The result was a far more uncompromising Miura with a strong motorsport character.
After its completion in 1976, the Miura SVR made its way to Japan, where it quickly achieved cult status. It gained fame through the manga Circuit Wolf, among other things, and inspired numerous scale models and collectors. In 2018, Lamborghini Polo Storico carried out an authentic restoration of the world's only example. Today, the Miura SVR is considered one of the most valuable and renowned one-off models in Lamborghini's history and an icon of classic supercar engineering.
