The BMW M8 GTE is an endurance racing version of the M8, developed on the basis of BMW's flagship coupe.
The M8 GTE is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 engine.
It debuted at the 2018 Daytona 24 Hours and won the 2019 Daytona 24 Hours.
To build on this series, the M8 GTE took part in the 2020 24 Hours of Daytona.
Jesse Krohn was tasked with driving the #24 BMW Team RLL car with the final stint.
He edged out the Porsche and took the lead with 46 minutes to go, eventually winning the race with a dramatic turnaround.
