The American car manufacturer celebrated a triumphant return to Le Mans in 2017 with the new Ford GT.
The racing car, based on the road version, won the 24-hour race in the GTE Pro class and was thus able to build on the successes of its forebear in the 1960s.
After the grandiose victory in the 24-hour race at Le Mans in 1966, Ford achieved another great success with the brand new GT in 2017: It achieved a grandiose 2nd place in the GTE Pro class
