This file is used for finishing grooves, as well as for skiving and slotting. It is extremely thin, yet robust and flexible, and therefore break-resistant. The electroplated diamond file has a steel core, and the abrasive material is diamond. It can be used on materials such as reinforced plastic, carbon, hard rubber, high-performance steel, non-ferrous metals, hardened steel, and glass.
