The Panzerkampfwagen V "Panther" was one of the most famous tanks of the Second World War.
It was developed as a direct response to the Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tanks, which significantly outperformed the Panzer III and Panzer IV on the Eastern Front in terms of firepower and overall performance.
Powered by a 700 hp Maybach V-12 engine, the Panther was equipped with the highly effective 7.5 cm KwK 42 tank gun.
