At 69 meters long and armed with 72 cannons, it was one of the most impressive warships of its time.
Over 700 gilded sculptures adorned the magnificent ship.
Tragically, the Vasa sank on her maiden voyage on August 10, 1628, in Stockholm harbor.
After 333 years, it was salvaged and can now be admired in the Vasa Museum in Stockholm.
