The M1929 camouflage cloth is probably the first existing camouflage model produced in series. Introduced in 1929, it was widely distributed to Italian soldiers as an accessory to be used as a shelter/poncho. After the capitulation of Italy in 1943, the German units adopted the M1929 camo model for their own use.
