-
HTK-A016 – Dark Green
-
Usage: Used in the early stages of the war in the Mediterranean for upper-surface camouflage (often combined with Dark Earth) before the specialized "Desert Scheme" was fully standardized. It was also used on maritime patrol and transport aircraft.
-
-
HTK-A009 – Dark Earth
-
Usage: A primary camouflage color for upper surfaces. In the "Desert Scheme", it was paired with Middle Stone to break up the aircraft's silhouette against the arid desert landscape.
-
-
HTK-A026 – Sky
-
Usage: Originally the standard underside color for day fighters in Europe. In the Mediterranean, it was used on the lower surfaces of early arrivals and some bomber/transport types before specialized theater colors took over.
-
-
HTK-A346 – RAF Sky Blue
-
Usage: An alternative light blue shade used on the undersides of aircraft in the Middle East and Mediterranean during the early-to-mid war period, often applied locally when standard theater paints were unavailable.
-
-
HTK-A028 – Azure Blue
-
Usage: The standard and iconic underside camouflage color for the RAF "Desert Scheme". It provided optimal concealment from the ground when looking up at aircraft flying over the bright Mediterranean sky.
-
-
HTK-A013 – Middle Stone
-
Usage: The definitive sand-beige color used on upper surfaces. Paired with Dark Earth, it formed the standard "Desert Scheme" camouflage applied to fighters like the Spitfire and Hurricane operating in North Africa.
-
-
HTK-A344 – Dark Mediterranean Blue
-
Usage: A dark blue shade used for camouflage on maritime reconnaissance aircraft, anti-shipping bombers, and night-operating aircraft over the Mediterranean Sea to blend in with the deep water or night sky.
-
-
HTK-A345 – Light Mediterranean Blue
-
Usage: A medium-light blue often used in multi-tone maritime or tropical camouflage schemes on upper or side surfaces to help aircraft blend with coastal and sea environments.
