Spot-On pigment No. 17 Dark Old Rust

Dark Iron Oxide. Recommended for reproducing old rust on mufflers, towing eyes, chains, steel cables, wheeled vehicle suspensions, trains and carts, springs, rails, road wheels, and OVM. Old rust is always darker than fresh rust. This is a base pigment color for rust modulation. Apply it first and follow with lighter shades to achieve an authentic look. Works best over black or metallic black acrylic base coats!

Recommended techniques: dusting, capillary action, weathering paint and paste

Combine with: Alkyd, ENML 2.0, or acrylic binders
