Diorama Texture No.9 Smooth Fine Grey Sand

This is a special, high-quality, fine grey sand powder that creates highly authentic, true-to-scale terrain with a beautiful, uniform texture. It is the color of grey primer, allowing you to see exactly how the texture will look after painting once it has been fixed with VMS Sand & Ballast Freeze—something not possible with standard white materials like sand. When fixed with VMS Sand & Ballast Freeze, it can also effectively simulate asphalt roads. It is intended to be painted over to adjust the color. Grain size: 0.001 – 0.2 mm.

Recommended techniques: Capillary action using VMS Sand & Ballast Freeze; sprinkling over VMS PVA glue.

Combine with: other VMS textures and pigments, VMS Smart Mud XL.
