History of the Waffen-SS
This is the first book in a new series of documentaries on the history of the Waffen-SS. The series focuses on the operations of the Waffen-SS on the Eastern and Western Fronts from 1941 to 1945. The texts describe the course of the battles in detail, and the illustrations include numerous original historical photographs, many maps, and tables with strength and casualty figures. Readers will find technical data as well as technical drawings (three-view drawings and 3D renderings) in black and white and color, illustrating the equipment of the Waffen-SS and its opponents on land and in the air.
The first volume of this series describes the Battle of Kharkov—the operations in February and March 1943, which culminated in the capture of Kharkov. The book comprises 560 pages and over 500 photographs (including approximately 30 color images), around 200 high-quality drawings (2D profiles and 3D renderings), 55 tables, and numerous maps (including a super-large A1 2D/3D map of Kharkiv and excerpts from original historical German maps).
