Since Volume 34 on the Sd.Kfz. 7 has been sold out for a long time, but there was consistent interest in a new edition, it was decided to fulfill this wish. However, it wasn't simply a reprint, but rather the content of Volume 34 was first updated, and then the volume was supplemented with information on the 10 cm heavy gun 18 and the 10-ton special trailer 115, both typical towing capacities of the Sd.Kfz. 7. 7.
The result is a volume 50, almost twice the size of the original, with 320 pages, approximately 320 historical photographs, approximately 250 photographs of vehicles and artillery from museums and private collections, 110 technical drawings of the Sd.Kfz. 7, the 10 cm heavy Kanone 18, and the Sd.Ah. 115, as well as 20 camouflage schemes based on historical photographs of the Sd.Kfz. 7 by Laurent Lecocq. This is supplemented by twelve wartime strength reports of the unit types equipped with these vehicles and artillery.
