This book wants to remedy this deficiency. Franz Kosar describes the heavy artillery of all the states that ever produced such guns and the development that led to them. Guns starting from the caliber 200 mm, which were intended for use with the field armies, thus field guns, siege artillery and self propelled guns. The focus of the presentation is on the early 20th century.
