The Grove GMK4080-3 is a modern 80-ton mobile crane that BwFuhrparkService procured on behalf of the German Armed Forces to replace older crane technology at locations such as Wilhelmshaven and Rostock. With a six-section main boom extending from 10.2 to 51 meters, an optional folding jib, and a compact design, the GMK4080-3 offers maximum flexibility in tight spaces – ideal for confined port areas.
The four-axle vehicle is powered by a 320 kW (430 hp) Mercedes diesel engine that meets the EUROMOT 5 emissions standard. Thanks to MEGATRAK® independent wheel suspension, the MAXbase™ variable support system, and a vehicle width of just 2.55 meters, the crane impresses with its high off-road capability and maneuverability. Its modular counterweight system allows you to take part of the 14.8t counterweight directly with you and thus be ready for use quickly.
