LOCK N LOAD – Weather-Resistant Rechargeable Technical Pencil
Using a mechanical pencil for weathering offers numerous advantages.

The tip can be customized for specific techniques and allows for both fine and broad strokes.

A Gun Metal lead is included. This color is used to imitate polished metal surfaces.
There is a built-in sharpener on the back of the pencil, allowing you to easily sharpen any color. You can also use coarse sandpaper, which is faster and allows you to adjust the tip to suit any technique and effect.
The application is straightforward and intuitive.
Draw the effect and blend it with a moistened brush.
Alternatively, you can moisten the lead tip beforehand, apply the effect directly, and then correct it with a moist brush. If you are not satisfied with the result, it can be easily removed with water.
For optimal results, we recommend using the leads on a matte surface, as this provides better grip. Weathering effects can be applied as a final touch.
However, if you want to apply additional "wet" weathering techniques with water or thinner, protect your work with a thin layer of varnish.
