Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor

The F-22 Raptor is the new air superiority fighter currently being built for the US Air Force.
It will ultimately replace the F-15 Eagles, which have been in service since the late 1970s.
The Raptor design utilizes the latest engine technologies to achieve supersonic speeds without afterburners. In addition, it will be equipped with sophisticated electronic weapons control equipment.
The weapons are carried in the fuselage to avoid radar detection and improve the aerodynamic properties of the aircraft.
