Blohm & Voss BV P178 mit BT700

The Bv P178 project was the first asymmetric jet aircraft in the history of aviation.
It was written by Dr. Vogt designed.
The aircraft was to have a tricycle landing gear, a wingspan of 12 meters and a fuselage length of 10.8 meters.
A Jumo 004B turbojet engine was to be installed under the right main wing.
  The carrier under the main fuselage should be able to carry bombs or other heavy weapons weighing 500-1000 kilograms.
Two solid rocket motor nozzles protrude from the rear fuselage and should have been used to provide additional power to the aircraft when pulling up during takeoff or dive.
Each side of the nose is equipped with an MG151 15mm cannon.
There are many derived models for this type of machine. Due to the strange design and the lack of supplies in the Third Reich at the end of the war, this series of projects did not receive production approval from the top of the Luftwaffe and remained simply a design on the drawing board.
